Sahyadri seeds has a broad germplasm base to ensure success in its breeding programs. The company also undertakes its research at numerous centers all over the country. In addition, its multi-location crop performance testing programme operates from different centers across the country.
Our R & D is especially involved in development of varieties with superior and appropriate traits, maintenance of broad germplasm and production of breeder and foundation seed as per the requirement of the company.
The company has its own R & D facilities at Dhule, Maharashtra. The research activities are supervised by experienced scientists specialized in various field and vegetable crops. The research is market-centric with feedback from the farmers. The research is guided by the present and future demands and requirements of the farming community. The products developed are put to extensive testing in farmer’s fields at various locations before released into the market.
